in my house, there are 5 devices connected to our router. 4 are wireless, one is wired. wireless: 2 kindle fires (one modified), and 2 laptops. wired: one desktop computer with no wireless card. each device respectively displays it's IP, name, and MAC address, except one. there is a random device that connects automatically to our internet with the MAC address 00:25:00:09:FD:66. i googled it, and it seems to be an Apple device. we don't own any working Apple devices... my iPod touch died 2 years ago and has not turned on since. changing the password to the router did not work, the device mysteriously reconnects itself...

Are you guys U-verse?
Because if you have U-verse (i'm, sure others work too but), you can block that specific MAC, and see what happens.

No, we don't have any contact with cellular networks, my mother hates them. My ISP is just plain old Comcast, or Xfinity, whichever they call themselves now.

(No edit button on mobile forums) my router works the opposite i beloeve, i have to block ALL MAC addresses, and allow specific ones on, but that is impractical for us beause we have friends over alot and would have to re-configure the router for each of their devices.
